With the right care, you can extend the life of your MIYO shoes and maintain a pristine condition over time. By cleaning, lubricating and impregnating your quality shoes regularly, they will last significantly longer and maintain a beautiful surface.
To preserve the shape of your shoes, use shoe blocks and try not to wear the same pair of shoes everyday as they need to rest in order to last longer. It is advised to visit a shoemaker and maintain your soles before they become too torn.

STORAGE

When you are not using your MIYO shoes, we recommend using your MIYO’s dust bag to protect them from external impurities. MIYO’s dust bags are made from non-woven material and a more environmentally friendly choice.

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY LEATHER SHOES

Leather is a natural and durable material that shapes comfortably to your feet. It also becomes more water resistant when treated with the right care. Many consider leather shoes to be a better investment due to their durability compared to alternative synthetic materials

Always remove superficial dirt by using a suitable leather shoe brush after wearing your shoes. Apply additional cleaning with a slightly damp cloth.
Add a thin layer of shoe polish or wax polish with an application brush or cleaning cloth and leave to dry for 5-10 minutes.
Choose a leather brush or a cleaning cloth and polish your shoes to desired gloss.
Use a shoe block and let the shoes dry in room temperature before use.
It is advised to repeat the cleaning process regularly for best effect.

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY SUEDE SHOES

Suede is simple to maintain and does not require more care than regular leather shoes. Make sure to use a proper impregnation spray on your MIYO shoes to protect them from water, dirt and pollution. Keep in mind that your new MIYO shoes only have a basic protection and should be impregnated before the first use.

Brush your suede shoes gently with a suitable suede brush.
Spray the shoes evenly from about 20 cm with impregnation spray before use and let them dry at least 30 minutes.
Brush your shoes lightly again with a suede brush.
For best result, repeat the cleaning process regularly.

You change your adornments with a simple slide-on movement, horizontally from the side into the MIYO clasp mounted on all the shoes. Store your adornments in MIYO’s accessory bag when you are not using them and treat them like any jewelry, cautiously.
